Most of the time. Seems people expect too much from you the more you let them know exactly what you do know.

For several reasons. Sometimes people need to feel the one in control or at times it could be that a person should seem they know less to not come off as pedantic and know it all, so yes.

All the time. I let people tell me what they know and explain their experiences with things as their opinion is just as important as mine but they have to make a logical explaination or I ignore them.

I will sometimes "let on" if I'm positive that my position is correct and the decision is important. I try to let it go if it isn't important but have a bad habit of correcting people. I'm trying to get over the habit but usually let it go more and more the older and wiser I get.

Yes. Sometimes. I learned to do that from work. They will give you all the work if you know how to do it but if you refuse to learn then they will just put the work off on somebody else that knows how to do it. I know this because I'm the one that knows how to do everything around here! ~sigh~

I always do, I have a tendency to absorb information so I tend to dumb myself down so people we like me better!

When I show people my intelligence it tends to annoy and scare people off so I tend to play dumb, not that I am a particularly social person anyway.
