You thought that you needed a lawn mower so you bought one.

$140.00 don't go far in buying a car. so that shouldn't have set you back that much.

Keep the lawn mower.

You have been getting a long with out a car for a while so what if it will be a bit longer.

In the mean time your lawn will look better.

Here is a suggestion..........This is what I did when I first started out.......
Go to yard sales or a flea market you can pick up a good one for $40 or $50 and have money left to save for the car.
Things to check before the purchase
Check the oil
Check the blades
Check the filters
Check the tires
Check to make sure it starts easy and no smoking when it starts.
Several years ago I bought one at a flea market for $20 and it lasted 4 years................
My next one was $40 and lasted until I bought a rider then I gave it away.

You need to get the priorities in order. If a car is more important than the mower, then you should not have bought it. A used mower would have cost less and you would have more towards the vehicle. This is a personal choice that only you can make.

Use the lawn mower to mow other peoples yards in order to get back the money you spent.

You have an unnecessary case of Post Purchase Cognitive Dissonance which is the "I should not have bought that" syndrome.
