From Metroactive (http://www.metroactive.com/metro/03.21.07/dianne-feinstein-resigns-0712.html):
"SEN. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein."
Doesn't something like this warrant additional press coverage and investigation?

robert m: She only resigned from the committee, not the Senate. Duke Cunningham is in JAIL for the same thing, and that $$ was a drop in the bucket compared to this.

I thought the same thing yesterday when I read about this on YAHOO ANSWERS. I am getting my news HERE.
The liberal press is sure doing a good job of under-reporting this story - IF they are reporting it at all.

Could be because the media is the Public relations Arm,
of the Democratic Party. Notice how, Sen.Webb's incident
of his Gun toting aide, was ignored. Had it been a Republican, right now the clamor, for a Special Prosecutor,
would be non stop on all the Media Programs.

I have sent emails to the alphabet networks with NO response. A search of their websites shows no reference.
I guess they can only talk about corruption, not business as usual for the corrupt dems in the senate.

This was brought up the first time last night - besides the Metroactive(?!) article there has been no mention of it even by Fox. Either it isn't true or Fox is part of the liberal media conspiracy.
Any links besides the Metroactive one appreciated.

Because she is a rich Liberal. Diane Feinstein is one of the richest women in America. No matter her wealth though, she still uses taxpayer money to pay her Limo driver.
She is dirtier than a toilet with 4 weeks of poo-poo left in it, unflushed.

Democrats get a free pass in the media.
How do you think Ted 'the toad' Kennedy has been able to serve so long?

of course it does, but feinstein is a liberal democrat and they are insulated from prosecution or investigation in regard to these sorts of things...now if she were a republican...
