We dye eggs the week before, make cupcakes for the Friday before and decorate them with jelly beans, and then on Easter morning everyone in the family gets an Easter basket with a chocolate bunny, jelly beans, and a toy. Then I make a nice dinner for the extended family, but it's a much simpler affair than Christmas. I serve ham with a cherry sauce, deviled Easter eggs, some side dishes and hot cross buns with lemon curd. Dessert is angel food cake with chocolate rabbit truffles on the side.
Lots of fun, can't wait!

Go to my mom and dad's. We have a nice dinner and an Easter egg hunt. Mom will still hide baskets too for us. Later we will all play a game together.

I now sleep in, and thank the lord that I no longer have to perform/present in the sunrise service at church as I did every year from the time I could read till I was 18.

As a Shintoist, I don't celebrate the pagan-turned-Christian Easter.
However, I love those little Cadbury Eggs, so I stock up on those while they're available.
