it is a Danio, and has been extreemly active the last few days

Danios don't get pregnant, but females do get full of eggs. It's not normal for them to begin to float if they stop moving, that's usually a sign of constipation or disease. Try not feeding that tank for a day or so and then feed them a few shelled peas or other veggie with lots of fiber. If It's constipation that will clear it up.

Fish have to keep their tails moving too stay afloat. If her belly is really large then she is pregnant.

It might have injured it's bouyancy bladder which helps them swim and not float up or sink. It keeps them in balance.
