Someone mentions the Bee Gees disco output. Actually, they had 4 songs on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and followed that up with an album of disco songs. That was it for their 'disco output'. Out of a career of over 30 number one hits and over 60 albums, they only had one disco album, though it was hugely popular.
Disco was redifined and refined by:
Donna Summer
Chic
Sisters Sledge
A Taste Of Honey
Kool And The Gang
KC And The Sunshine Band
Peter Browne
Silver Convention
and of course
The Bee Gees
and without a doubt
The Village People (who were created by the same song writers and producers that 'discovered' Kiss & Donna Summer).... ;-)
