It's a long story.
When I was 18 years old I travelled alone from my country to another and there I was supposed to meet up with a group of strangers who were going on the same organized trip as I. I got sick on the plane and after I arrived in that country I accidentally took the wrong train and ended up in the wrong city and wasn't sure how to get back (I had never travelled by train before). My cell phone didn't work, everything was closed (it was Sunday) and the people I tried to talk to and ask for help didn't understand what I needed (language difficulties). So there I was, alone and lost in a foreign country, feeling sick and dragging a heavy bag with me. A young man approached me and seemed to want to help, but he told me I needed to go to another place to buy a ticket or a phone card and tried to get me to follow him into an alley. I started doubting his intentions and refused to go with him and stayed in a public place. He kept trying, but after a while a young couple walked by and he asked them to help me. They eventually took me into a nearby office, where somebody spoke English and was able to help me, give me directions how to get to the place I was heading to and phone to the organization I was supposed to meet up with to let them know what was going on. So everything went fine in the end.
I think this must have been the scariest situation I've been in in my life. Young, alone, lost and helpless in a foreign country where some guy kept trying to pull me into an empty alley with him.

I once went to my Grand parents place which is a small town in southern India. It was around 10 in the night i was standing at the gate of my grand parents house which was in the outskirts of the town where there are many paddy fields and huge bushes, i saw a woman who looked poor crying walking towards bushes,i was teenager at that time was feeling pity for her followed to see where she was heading, but while I was following her my mind stopped thinking about things like why I am following her, where am i going, what was the time,
suddenly she stopped at a huge deep well and jumped into her, but when i saw her i tried to stop her and was running towards the well to save her forgetting that i do not know how to swim, i was about to jump into the well suddenly a huge force pulled me back and it was my grand father, he shook me hard and asked me what was i doing here.
Later I told him the incidence and he told me that there was a poor woman who committed suicide there and people who saw her spirit were attracted towards that well.

spain on holiday, last night of the hol in the evening, my parents were at a club next door to a park, and i was playing ( about 8 at the time) i'd run up the steps of a slide, slide down, run right and out the gate, turn right and follow the fence all the way around to the back, climb the wall ( which was about the same height as me, made up out of a mixture of granite and some really sharp, horribley angled rocks). then hopping the fence and doing it again, at some point i decided i could jump the wall, but as i hopped up i felt a tearing pain in my leg, and i couldn't move, i felt paralysed as i fell onto my back and started crying, glancing down at my leg i'd gored my entire right knee on a large piece of angular rock, and there was blood everywhere, i could see the bone of my leg through the hole. i remember sitting there crying out thinking i was going to die until a stranger walked past, heard me shouting and came to my rescue, carrying me to the club and finding my parents, before carting me off to a hospital to have my leg stiched up.
i've now got a permenant scar on my leg to remind me of that, but all i can say about it now, is that it was rather cool having to wear all the dressing around my leg and looking like a fighter out of one of those japanese animes.

It was night and I was asleep in my bed, which was right under the window. I woke up in the middle of the night because of a strange sound. I opened my eyes and saw a big hand wearing a black glove reaching in through the window towards me. It was just a couple of inches away from my neck/face. I freaked out and jumped out of bed. I thought someone was trying to kill me. The hand went back out the window and then I heard a familiar voice. "Are you awake?" It turns out it was just my brother. He had forgotten his keys and needed to wake me up to get in and hadn't thought of how creepy it would be to be woken up by a gloved hand reaching for my face through the window.

i had a 'out of body experience' many years ago - it still frightens me to think about it. there was a radio in the room and it went on and the voice was evil and disturbing. then i looked down and saw myself laying in the bed. it was the strangest feeling - since i was trying not to leave my body. i was convinced that i was dying! i am christian so i wasnt messing around with any evil stuff...another more physical event was being chased with a knife....hay thanks for the more interesting of todays questions!!
