I am living out of Australia right now...and am not sure what is going on. When is the election scheduled for in 2007?

Australia is scheduled to have their national election sometime between October and December this year. There had been elections in New South Wales last weekend.
The links I found do not have all the votes counted yet but they both have the Labour Party leading

This year is likely to be an election year. PM John Howard has not scheduled it yet...
Labor is likely to win (just an opinion)... Kevin Rudd is much more popular than their last leader Kim Beazley

NSW state election was last week end.. Labour Party won!!!
