I keep clicking on View Available Wireless Network at the taskbar there, but it can't be open up? What's wrong?

Well there are several things that can cause this.

One is the adapter disabled or turned off - enable it or turn it on. You may find you need to reboot in some cases.

Two have the drivers become corrupted - reinstal them

Three is the adapter working correctly - check the manual

If you used the software that came with your wireless NIC (such as linksys), the software stops your Wireless Zero Configuration service. It wants to take over your wireless connection, which is usually d*** inconvenient. Go to start-control panel-administrative tools-services. Near the bottom of the list is "wireless zero configuration service". It should be set to automatic. Start the service. Poof! issue resolved.

Or, "four", the most obvious possibility...

Check the services, and make sure the Windows Wireless service is running...
