The show started with Nikki running through the jungle and collapsing at Sawyer and Hurley's feet. As they watch in surprise Nikki dies before their eyes. In flashback we see Nikki, who is an actress working on a popular action series. Nikki is involved romantically with the elderly producer of the series who is famous and rich. We see them together at his mansion and he gives Nikki a diamond bracelet and makes reference to a possible engagement ring. The man introduces Nikki to his chef, who is Paulo. Moments later the man collapses and Nikki snatches a key which is hanging from a necklace around his neck. Paulo and Nikki race towards a safe and open it up. They are ecstatic as they find what they are looking for in the safe. Fast forward to the island when the plane crashes and Paulo and Nikki are frantically looking for their bag which holds the treasure. When Nikki realizes that the box of guns was found under water, she heads to that location with Paulo. Paulo dives underwater, locates the bag, but doesn't tell Nikki. When Nikki later realizes that Paulo found the bag (because she sees a pack of nicorette gum that was in the bag) she confronts him in the jungle and throws some spiders on him. As the spider bites Paolo Nikki taunts him by telling him that he will be paralyzed within moments and it will last for 8 hours. As Nikk is taunting him she is attacked and bitten by the spiders. At this point she takes off running and collapses at Sawyer and Hurley's feet. They believe her to be dead and go to find Paulo, who they also find dead. The lost crew digs their graves and sets about burying the twosome. Sawyer, who found the treasure (a sack of diamonds) sprinkles the diamonds over the twosome as dirt is poured on top of them. Right as the dirt is thrown over Nikki we see her eyes wide open. Paulo and Nikki, have been buried alive. *It was also revealed by Charlie to Sun that he and Sawyer kidnapped her and it wasn't the Others. Sun confronts Sawyer and slaps him. She tells him she won't be telling Jin because then they would have to dig another grave.

Didn't see it, but based on what you all have said why did Sawyer tell Charlie to kidnap Sun? Also what was the purpose in those 2 new lost people? They were there to die? They were in like what 2 episodes, and when it's revealed who they are they get buried alive? There's no point to that.

It was basically a filler episode. The only new information was that Ben and Juliet have been to the Pearl hatch at least twice and Sun found out who attacked her. (It was actually SAWYER who mentioned telling Jin and Sun said no because "we would need to dig another grave")

SPOILER ALERT TO ANYONE WHO DOESNT WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Charlie finally admitted to Sun it was he, and not the Others, who tried to abduct her. He told her it was Sawyers idea and Sun smacked Sawyer and stormed off. But she told Charlie she wouldn't tell Jin because she knows *as do we all* full well what Jin could do to him!
And the newer Losties: Palao and Nikkie were buried alive by Sawyer!!!!!!! Well, in his defence, they were both bitten by poisonous spiders that rendered them paralyzed. When they were discovered it looked like they were dead, so naturally they were buried!!!! But it's cool with me: in their flashbacks, we found out they were a pair of murderers who killed an older television director for his money and 8M worth of diamonds. But they then became distrustful of each other....they deserved their fate..though I wish Smokey or a polar bear would have gotten to them first >)

It was such a great episode that I really think you should find a way to watch it. Being told here what happens would really ruin the magic.

you can go to abc.com and watch the episode online, it was about 2 people who have never been seen before nikki and paolo and it was sorta bizzarre but I won't give it away so you can watch it online and see for yourself

Same old same old. They found a new hatch and opened it and Richard Hatch was in it naked because it was his bday and they were on the set of Survivor only it was the original Survivor and no one had anything to eat and Richard Hatch was made to put his clothes on by the bitchy truck driver lady (who ain't no lady).
