There are any number of ways that this could be interpreted, but I'll go with what I think you're asking.
The planet Earth itself won't change much in appearance, except we may or may not have the polar ice caps. This will depend on what will be done to curb global warming. Carbon dioxide levels will likely be higher, possibly above 500 ppm.
Society will change drastically, as it always does. Further tecnological advancements will bring new wonders and new horrors. The way we conduct our lives will change as a result.
If population levels continue to increase, we will likely have to learn to live with fewer resources. Though, depending on how far you look into the future, the possibility of colonizing other planets may help improve resource quantity.
There was an interesting 3 part mini-series on discovery channel not long ago. I believe it was called 2050, and it offered a glimpse of what could possibly be our future. They repeat it often, so it may not be long before they show it again.

as per what i remember from school, in long run the sun will become red giant star and will 'suck' the earth with its strong gravitation. in short run like few million years from now the earth will be pretty much the same as now looked from the space
