Ooh hi =D good for you to want to come out of your shell! You can start wearing female clothes anytime. Who says you can't? Why can females wear skirts AND pants and men get mocked at if they wear skirts? (exception of scottish people wearing kilts =D) Ooh, remember, if you have muscular arms, don't wear shirts with 1/4 lenght sleeves. They sort of bring out how big it is. Oh and big-long-sleeved-shirts with a mini-skirt says "CUTE!" =D Cheers!

Whenever you want, but it isnt about wearing women's clothes, its about living as a woman. Start wearing what you should be when you want to live as a woman. It is always good to let the hormones do some work on you before transitioning, (depends on what age you are).
There are effects that happen that are not really mentioned, which really help in everyday life.
-You dont sweat as much, and your smell is within normal female ranges
-Your hair changes and goes thinner, but doesnt fall out
-Your skin changes, making it thinner so you can bruise easier, and makes it smooth too, but also feel things better (pleasure and pain and also the cold!)
-Body hair is lessened to female ranges, though this can take 2 years for total balance, and also hair grows slower
-Facial hair grows weaker and becomes a bit coarse so it is easier to get rid of
-You get the figure of a woman, with fat-redistribution, such as hips and face etc
-You can shrink one or two inches (i did, 1 1/2 so far, 9 months HRT). Usually within first year
-Feet can get smaller, but rarer than height, as height is to do with muscles or something
-You start to feel emotions, and can get weepy like any other women when watching sad films etc
-You get A LOT weaker and find out what men are useful for
-Then obviously boobs and the rest
The effects deteriate with age, and take longer to achieve
-Under 20 will look generally like a woman at the end of it
-20-15 have a great chance too, but boob size is a bit lesser
-25 to 35, things are a bit harder, years of shaving can rough up the skin and muscles and face broadness can ruin things, also, its like cleaning a pan, the longer you leave it, the harder it will get to get it looking like a pan
-35 to 50 and over, is obviously were things get harder and often impossible
I am so glad i started at 19. I transitioned after about 4 months of HRT, but it still took me a little while to get my look in gear. I look fine now, and receive no abuse, actually i get attention, but i have to put them back as i havent had the op yet. Hopefully december this year..., im 20 now, i will be 21 then. If everyone knows, then they are merely waiting for what you will turn out like. Be sure you get the right clothes for your age, it will be easier on you and your family, if you fit into society's norms, but its upto you whatever you do.
