In order to exist in nature, there would have to be a male and female, right?? so why don't we call them "genderbirds"...and with all the damn correct pc rubbish....shouldn't they be called lady AND men birds???!!!

They are all gay , so the males quite like the term 'lady'birds.....

oh I love ladybirds - when I was younger I enjoyed to catch them and watch them till they flew off. I guess they call them ladybirds because the female is the biggest of the two. Once again sexuality kicks but with putting the men below the woman.

the "lady" in ladybird actually refers to the virgin mary, for some reason...
