I don't know if you people are new to the game or if you have short memories. I remember exactly what happened. We were already at war with Iraq. President Bush stated that he already had the authority to go back into Iraq and did not need to go to congress. THE DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS INSISTED that he come to them for approval JUST SO THEY COULD GO ON THE RECORD AS SUPPORTING IT. The vote was nearly unanimous.

The opportunistic, politically minded democrats could not wait to sign on. The war was extremely popular and they saw the parade and wanted to run out in front of it to look like leaders. When the insurgency emerged, instead of sticking to their guns the cowardly democrats sensing a change in the public mood began to start undermining the effort and pointing the blame on the President.

The modern Democrat party is a disgrace. They are just a bunch of opportunistic frauds. They care not about America. They care not about our military. They care not about the innocent people of Iraq.

Most of their base consists of miserable people who are just filled with hate, envy and bad intentions. Look at the posts you see right in this forum. They know only how to hate and blame everyone else for there own misery.

The Conservatives, on the other hand, love America. We are optomistic about the future. We support the military and have no doubt they will prevail if we let them. We see liberty as the only hope for humanity and America is the keeper of the light.
We are proud of America's accomplishments and realize how lucky we are to have been born here.

Why in the world would anyone want to be a democrat, today?
Stop hating everyone and everything.

YES! Congress was duped. But it wasnt really Bush. You see he was captured by the Libronites from the planet Nadaspyne. We are the same ones that faked the moon landing and we shot Kennedy,(and it's rumored J.R.).Our plan is to plunge the world into war and then to make Elvis president and Michael Jackson as V.P. I know you think M.J. is still alive, but not so.He was our first Libronite plant. We have improved our masking techniques so the faces dont fall off now. That is why we had to move him into hiding.
As so as we find out how to remove that bright yellow streak from our backs we will rule the world.

Your supreme commander

Yes, Congress did. About the time we were going to war in Iraq, a U.N. expert released the official U.N. position that Iraq had no wmd's. Not one single paper of note, or broadcast media, picked up the story. We had a drumbeat of warring, so, in a way, we duped ourselves. Never again.

Congress knew exactly what was going on...They insisted to sign on as a course of record........Then as always, they changed their mind, for Political reasons. Their only interest in this war is to garner support for the Liberals.

BASH BUSH & THE TROOPS....SUPPORT THE LIBERALS!!!!!!!!!

It's time for you to go to bed, but don't worry, other people are giving their all so that you might sit about in comfort while spouting and bitching and repeating things "somebody told you" about Bush and the war. Open you damn eyes, think for yourself, and stop letting all of your liberal "friends" dictate to you what you should believe.
It is your peers who make you agree with them, not Bush.

When the Congress voted on the war it was as a LAST resort, or so they thought. Subsequently the Cheney administration (Bush is a non-voting member) rushed the UN inspecting team out of Iraq and invaded long before Hans Blix had a chance to report his findings: NO WMD.

A little of both. Congress was suckered in, but they should have done their due diligence before jumping on the band wagon. They all know that, but wouldn't think of admitting it.

If you are too stupid and/or lazy to do your own research to determine if we should have went to war or not, you should not be in office.
