(b) One of the remaining three teachers is chosen at random to chair the conference. Calculate the probability that this teacher is from Brazil.

the probability that the Brazilian OR the Argentinian is chosen first X the probability that the non-Nambian is chosen next time ...

P = 2/5 X 1/4

(b) Probability that the Brazilian teacher is finally chosen as chairperson is

The probability that the Brazilian isn't chosen first, multplied by the probability that the Brazilian isn't chosen next time round, multiplied by the probability that the Brazilian IS chosen the third time round ...

P = 4/5 X 3/4 X 1/3
