Taureans have a generally calm nature and they can put up with a lot before they show their emotions.They have a lot of patience but when provoked beyond their limits, their temper will show. They are warm hearted and loving but on the negative side they can be possessive and jealous! Maybe resentful and inflexible.

I think that alot of times it's really hard to do, if at all. The best thing to do is give them lots of love and attention, let them know that it's alright to show how they feel, and to let people know what they are feeling. Being patient, and showing our own feelings at the same time will help, but mostly it will take time. I've a son who also is a taurus, and i am too, but i show my feelings, where he really tries to hide them and then does get on the defensive when i approach him about it. He feels like he has to be strong in order to be a good husband, son, dad ect. and if he lets his emotions out, he feels like it will make him weak. He's also in the military and has been overseas twice, and they have to keep their feelings bottled up so they can stay focused on what they are doing w/out any distracions. If they are distracted w/all these emotions for us, they can't get their jobs done, no matter what kind of work they are in. I hope this helps
