You can get glossy paper. it's just harder to get a good print because of the smearing. You might find it labelled as brochure paper.

The paper that magazine pages are made from is "clay-coated." You can buy clay coated papers at office supply stores, etc., and I believe Kinko's et al. may carry them by the sheet too. I believe they come in matte or glossy versions, and may be two-sided for making brochures in some cases.

I know that photocopying (color or b&w) or laser printing onto these papers works well, and I think that inkjets** may work too but not sure (if those smear after drying, you can at least try spraying them lightly a time or two with an acrylic spray to set them... or sometimes heat will set them too).

**some regular "printers" these days actually use toner (like photocopiers and lasers do) instead of ink (like inkjets), so if you have that type of printer, it should work fine

You can use "Photo paper" they have some with both sides glossy.
