They don't want to be size zero to be attractive to men, they want to be size zero to make other women jealous.
There is a big difference.

i think that`s exactly right, women don`t necessarily lose weight or try to be skinny for men, they do it to make other women jealous!!! i`m not saying that`s true of every woman, but i really think 75% of women who want to be stick-thin do it just to flaunt it in front of other gals ("oh i wear a size 0 jean now, a size 3 is just too loose on me...")...it`s also true that i think the majority of males prefer a woman that is well-proportioned, not necessarily skinny skinny, but slender and with nice curves & a womanly figure...i think that just goes to show that ladies are not trying to be slim for the guys` benefit, but to outdo the other women at weight loss!!!

I went down to a size 4-6 at one point (US size 0) and I had far less interest from men. I found that girls looked at me more in a critical way and I got more compliements from girls about my size - im now a size 8 (UK) - I get more compliements from guys now but I still have that desire to be slimmer - are we women our own worst enemys?

Gilrs (often teenagers) think they're fat when actually they're a healthy size. The media airbrushes etc so many pics of their fav clebs, that they believe it and want to be like them. But at the end of the day, clebs are human too. They get spots, put on bit of weight etc. But yes, I hope this answers your question in a short summary!!

Size 0 = near to non-existant breasts, exposed ribs and hip bones sticking out = zero interest for me!

it really annoys me that men think, and some women think that men think, that women loose weight for them, have cosmetic surgery for them and put on make up for them??
