I did send this question yesterday but computer cut out,did'nt receive answers.
My question is i have applied for a RBS credit card and they have asked for ID which i have sent to them,does this mean my application has been successful.

How can they check your Credit Rating if they do not know who you are ?

First you prove who your are, then they check your Credit and decide (or not) to issue the card.

Having said that, chances are you will be accepted UNLESS you have defaulted (i.e. not paid) on other cards or your mortgage.

no.you have to prove your id.
that may be your passport.driving lic.utility bill.any think to prove your id
