Recently activated faxing function on windows xp with Dell 944 all-in-one printer-scanner-fax. Can only send.?

When I have an incoming fax I get msg, click here to receive this call as a fax (I do it) Then after a few more rings I get msg. Fax attempt has failed. I have Windows XP with dsl as isp. Any ideas? Why can I send only?

I would check and see if you have your fax number entered into the utility for the printer. When you install the software you install software to enter information. Check there.
