Try to change the petrol pump , if nothing else works then complain to the gurgaon headquater if that also doesn't work , then go to consumer forum .

I was searching endlessly for a bike which can give me a decent mileage, has enough power and also looks ok. Upon doing some R&D I realized that 125 CC bikes are designed to perform and behave like a mule (a cross between a 100CC and 150CC) and might suffice my need. Unfortunately most of the current bikes in the market compromise on one of the 3 characteristics which was quite annoying.
As the saying goes 1 in a hand is better than 2 in a bush, I decided to go ahead and pick the best bike in the lot. I short listed 3 bikes
1. Hero Honda - Super Splendor
2. Hero Honda - Glamour 3. Bajaj – Discover
Super Splendor: Best in the class as far as mileage is concerned, pickup is average and forget about the looks. I have been driving a Hero Honda CD 100 SS for the last 10 years and I wanted to buy a bike that looks a bit different. Somehow splendor looks very outdated and doesn’t give you the feeling of driving a new bike. So that was a no go.
Glamour: Mileage is decent, pickup again is average and looks are ok.
Discover: Mileage is decent, pickup again is average and looks very good especially with the alloy wheels.
So I was stuck between glamour and discover. The only reason I was considering glamour was the Hero Honda tag. Strangely I haven’t found enough bikes on the road and was really wondering if they are really good. By looking at the various bikes in the parking lot we can get a general feel on what is hot and what is not. I find lot of passion’s, pulsar’s and unicorn’s and barely a glamour or discover.
Then I heard the launch of shine and waited patiently for over 2 months (I waited for almost 6 months and another 2 months wouldn’t hurt) to do a test drive.
My first Impression : Average looks , like a younger sibling of unicorn. Frankly I did not like it the first time I saw.
Test Drive: The kick start was good, gear shift was very smooth and the pickup was awesome. I did not expect a 125CC bike to jump like it did. Seating was very comfortable and breaking excellent. I knew for sure that something was special about shine. I was convinced that it suffices my second requirement of good pickup.
Coming to mileage, if we go by what Honda says(65KMPL under test conditions) we can expect at least 60KMPL which is very good considering the fuel price hike everyone is talking about. So that suffices my first requirement for good mileage.
Regarding looks, I am not sure. It looked better on my second visit(with my cousin for a second opinion) and I fell in love the third time(for booking). It’s a decent looking bike and I wish they come up with alloy wheels. I wanted to wait for the self start version, but it would take another 2 to 3 months and I wasn’t prepared for that. So I decided to go ahead and book it and now I am waiting for my bikes delivery. I chose Grey colour with drum brakes.
Will write more once I get to ride the bike and have used it for an month. So keep checking.
Onroad price : 47200 (drum) and 49230( disc) hyderabad.

My friend writes:

Hi all, I bought a shine 20 days back and has done 1600 km on it, so thought of sharing my experience with it.Initially I was in a bit of confusion regarding which one should I go for, out of shine and gladiator.Gladiator looks far better, has longer wheelbase and wider tyre , so will
be better in handling..But my priorty was mileage and reliability , also for me brand name honda in india is better compared to yamaha..So finally I went for shine... So this is a problem free bike , I can say..It will start in the very first kick even in t rainy mornings with out using the choke. Then It has got enormous low end torque, hence need not change gears very often..I can easily travel at speeds as low as 20 kmph with out any engine knocking or chain snatch..Also it is really comfortable for long journeys. I travel around 90 kms a day , and never felt any bach ache or fatigue...very much comfortable seating posture ..Then about mileage..till date , it is giving me mileage around 64-66 kmpl...But the roads I used to tavel are relativey good ones...Then the headlight beam quality of this bike is very good...It is lit the road better compared to other bike.then about the areas for improvement..The Most important draw back I found is the lack of fifth gear...the moment I cross 50 kmph mark I always feel the ned for a fifth gear..or the fourth gear ratio could have been a bit taller ..But the good point is that the prfomance is not affected if there is a pillion or not..u can climb the average ascent in 4th gear itself with a pillion rider..So the point is that if u travel in the range above 65-75 kmph, u always feel the need for a fifth gear which is sadly absent in shine... then it is too bad that a 125cc bike with 10.3 bhp and 10.9NM torque is fitted with a 2.75inch rear tyre ..It should be 3 inches...Then about the looks..Honda says it got decent and stylish looks.I agree with decent part..but I canot say it is stylsh..Yes the headlight ,tail light and blinkers look stylish..also the petrol tank is good and have got nice knee recess. Bur the graphics are not that good. Also the overall look is not that stylish compared to competitors like gladiator and discover etc.. So overall opinion is that shine is a very good bike except cons like looks, narrow rear tyre and lack of fifth gear...and it has got really nice mileage...and legendary honda reliability ...

seems such as you're doing a incredible job of looking after her. And if there exchange into something to rigidity approximately your vet could have observed. purely by using fact she is small does no longer imply any element. Being the runt or no longer out of a clutter capacity no longer something. I also have a runt of the clutter that's now extra desirable than all of his siblings. I truthfully have a dogs which exchange into the biggest puppy out of her clutter who's now small than all her siblings it somewhat is purely the way it is going some circumstances. as long as your vet isn't worried. i does not difficulty approximately it. and tell your neighbor to bypass take a flying bounce and ideas her very own agency

Companies in India often release the vehicles without meeting the norms due to meet production targets..SO once in awhile some unlucky guy gets a bad product.you are the unlucky one.nothing can be done about it.

The mileage they quoted you is the maximum that you'd only get if you traveled the perfect speed on the perfect road with no changes. Real world mileage is always lower that.

Try cleaning the carburettor. This might increase the overall mileage of your bike.
