I think the ability to repeat keys has been turned off by my husband somehow.

Click Start and then Control Panel. In control panel you will see Keyboard. Double click that to open up the keyboard options where you can change the Character Repeat rates.

The repeating letter delay and speed is set in the Contol Panel, under Keyboard. You'll see sliders and test boxes so you can get things correct.

So, you mean if you press the A key, and hold it down, it will only type one letter, and then you have to type a space before you type another A....is that what you mean?

go to settings

double click on accessiblity options

uncheck "use filter keys"

i dont understnad what u mean?if he turned it off look for a way to turn it on then,go to start button i think u will find your way from there
