There are 2 types of personal loans – secured personal loans and unsecured personal loans. Secured personal loans require you to pledge any of your assets like you house to the lender as collateral. Bobby - the only way you can do this is a payday loan and I would not recommend it unless you can pay back the loan immediately. Furthermore, most payday loan lenders give up to $1500 so you would have to use 2 or 3 loans to get $3K to $5K.
Payday loans are very costly. A $5k loan can turn into 10K - fast.
