ok obviously I messed up on the question. What Im talking about is for the people that just believe in evolution ok...nothing else.Im saying that everything can not just exist for no reason.Everything has a begining, and for it to have a begining it has to start from nothing.Nothing cant produce anything.Life can not just exist,I believe that evolution could be true. Its just that it is common sense that everything started from something and nothing is just "there".

Evolution, at least the fact that things 'evolve' according to their environment is a proven scientific fact. It's not debatable!!! The fact that things evolve is undisputable, except by a crazy person who can not understand the logistics of simple math or someone who is purely ignorant. Things evolve, but there is nothing science says that can take away from the fact that God may have started creation and/or evolution. These things are not provable by numbers since God is Infinite(Without limits). Your question(Not that it really is one) really doesn't make any sense. By the way, I believe in God and I am well aware of the FACT that things evolve. Peace!

With all due respect to the poster, I believe there is a bit of a mix up in themes here. First of all, as others have already pointed out, atheism is not necessarily bound to evolution, or theism to creationism.
Putting that aside, I will attempt to answer the spirit of the question. I am personally an atheist, and am also quite convinced of the validity of the theory of evolution as a reasonable explanation for genetic diversity/similarity etc. I don't wish to sound condescending about it, but most of the anti-evolution theories I have heard have been supported by very very dodgy science and dubious sources (I am not a geneticist or biologist myself, I have a working knowledge of the field, but I admit that I am not the ultimate authority in this area).
Much more importantly, taking the scientific view of this, I accept a theory which seems to have the weight of long years of research and analysis behind it. If further (reliable) research were to change or contradict the current theories, I would adapt my own understanding to this.
This is essentially the division between the religious and the scientific viewpoint. As an 'evolutionist'/'rationalist' or whatever, I can and will adapt or change my opinions depending on evidence, whereas the religious viewpoint decides on the answer and filters the evidence to support/prove this position.
No offence intended to anyone, of course.

God and evolution are not two opposites. This thought of yours that those who believe in god donot believe in evolution is Christian (I don't have exact word but church in general opposes the evolution theory). There are three possibilities 1. There is god, 2. There is no god, and 3. There was a god. It is not possible to conclude on any of these three by rational reasoning. So, some people believe in the existance of god. Some deny his existance, and some like me think more rationally and give third option which is also a possibility that once there was a god but after his work was done (creation), he simply extincted or transformed into something else.

I am a theist who believes in evolution. there is nothing wrong with being an atheist who believes in evolution, it just means that the person has not been convinced that God exists yet. The atheist has to believe that there is something more out there, something more than just evolution of the world and life...and there has to be. why is all of this here? there has to be an answer. that secret is God. There are better ways of explaining it, but first I have to take you to the grand canyon at sunset. The problem are theists who don't believe in evolution. Evolution is just as much a fact as the fact that my great, great grandfather lived at some point in the past.

I dont really believe in evolution. And ill answer your question when you answer this where does god come from where is his begining he didnt just appear or if he did what created him? if god is the alpha and omega, the begining and the end, what was before the begining? I think god is made up by man there is so many gods buhda, allah, shiva etc there is so many so what makes you think your god is the right one if there even is one , because your parents made you believe? and you believe the bible? it was written by men and how do you know they werent all crazy? if some one this day tried to say they were son of god he would be locked up for being insane and what if god is real and what if that person really is the son of god we would never no because we would assume they were crazy so i guess to sum it up i try my best not to think of anything like that i just enjoy my life as it comes and when i die wether god is real or not ill worry about that then!!

I am a aithiest, I would certainly choose evolution over God. But you know to be fair with those that believe in God, The argument of God verses evolution is an equal argument because at one time there was nothing anywhere out there in space, not even one single atom or God How was that first piece of matter come about? How did God come about? How does something come from nothingness? I could write a full week why I don't believe in God. But a couple of my favorites is He is a "Loving God" but if we don't live by his rules he's going to let us burn in hell for an eternity Or he will allow a little girl to be raped then murdered. That's a "loving farther"?I would like to set down with this man (God) and try to straighten him out. Would like to know why you don't believe in evolution,Email is fatstan@sbcglobal.net

Evolution makes no since to you because you don't know anything about it. There is pretty much definitive proof for evolution. I am not an atheist, but I do believe in science, and what is proven. You should really read about evolution, instead of just believing what people tell you because they know nothing.

Evolution works by adaptation. As the environment changes so do organisms. The ones that live go on to spread their genes and so on. There are also random mutations that occur.

P3 did you just learn the word fallacy in high school English class? Looks like your word a day calendar works, you pompous ***.

Evolution makes sense, pretty much all major religions dont from what i have seen.

I don't believe in God because ultimately there is no proof to support his existence (and if there were, wouldn't that destroy the foundation of religion, faith, which is believing in something without proof). I don't "believe" in evolution. The theory of evolution is series of proven statements on the origin and progression of species that has yet to be fully disproved(the theory is made up of many smaller theories I guess you would say and until at least 45% of these smaller theories have been disproved, evolutionary theory will prevail).

I beleive in rael. And scientology has a lot of good points and techniques.
Now, I research all the time. I don't just fall for new-age garbage. I follow my intuition and experience.
To me the universe is infinite in time and space.
An extra-terrestrial race (look like human) created us. There are many races.
100 billion stars in this galaxy alone, and a few billion galaxies in the KNOWN universe.....
Just look at how small and young(therefore ignorant)we are as a humanity.
We have not a clue yet!!
