You need to be specific, and by the way, it's bass, not base.

Dear Highway: How can base be a nickname for bass when the only difference is the way the words are spelled?

Drum N Bass is a type of dance music consisting of very fast funk style breakbeats over deep, often dark synthesised basslines. It evolved in the UK in the early nineties from Old Skool Hardcore (the first album by The Prodigy, for example) and the underground sound of Jungle (effectively Dub with double time drums).
Massive in the UK and has been for years. Check out Roni Size, Goldie, Pendulum, LTJ Bukem, Andy C. The list goes on and on.

Again, what are you asking for? Are you asking what's the difference between the drum and the bass...guitar, bass violin, bass clef in the music sheet or what?

We could help you if we had a much clearer question?
