If you have a partner who isn't in the mood, ask them if they will help you with your mood, sometimes all it takes is for them to play and then they change their mood. You should start with the understanding that, for everything you get when they aren't in the mood, you would reward them with the same when you aren't.

Hmm. Sorry, still trying to imagine not being "in the mood", and it's not working.
