Start by considering what kind of business you would be good at and what kind of work you would love to do. And always use spell-check when corresponding with prospective business contacts. Even if you are great at what you do, an unrelated spelling error will cause anyone to think twice about putting money on the line.

An entrepreneur invests in or starts up a money making enterprise. Most successful self employed business people find a way to fill a need with their particular skills. Someone who has experience as a woodworker (developed as a hobby), if they are highly skilled, more likely to succeed in a cabinetry business remodeling kitchen cabinets or built in shelving, or even designing and building furniture to order.

Figure out where your greatest skills are, usually they relate to something you love doing. That's important, passion will keep you working hard to succeed even when the going gets rough.

Um.. you can start by spelling it correctly. It's "entrepreneur," dear. What sort of businesses are you looking to get into? I think your best bet is to start familiarizing yourself with the pros/cons of entrepreneurship and see what's out there for you. Good luck.
