John Lennon's death was very tough to take. I was raised a big fan and still listened to him all the time (I was in high school at the time). However, when George Harrison died a few years ago, I think it hit me a bit harder. Age had caught up to me a bit, maybe it seemed the death also brought home my mortality, I don't know. But it made me think.

John Lennon.
I was at O.C.A. when he was murdered, the next day I walked into one of the art classes early to find Bob sitting on one of the drawing horses all dressed in black. He was leaning against the back of the horse with a dead serious look on his face.
I looked him over and I remember the stark contrast of his white blond hair against the black of his clothes and cowboy boots, then I said ...."for Lennon right?" Bob just nodded his head.

Definatly JFK back when I was a kid.
And this sounds maybe mickey mouse but Anna Nicole Smith.....because her son died at the same age that my son died and I could feel her pain. And the thought of such a loss that........well I can't explain it, but I understand how the loss could push a person over the edge. She went over that edge.......

John Lennon's shocked me because someone deliberately shot him in cold blood.I remember my best friend came and told me and I didn't believe her and thought she was having a lend of me because she knew how much I loved his music.Also Princess Diana,Steve Irwin,Bon Scott and Gianni Versace all gone to soon.
