They may just need adjustment.

Have a mechanic you trust take a look at them. Replacement isn't difficult or that expensive, but adjustment is cheaper and worth looking into.

Brake pads are measured according to coeifficient of friction & thermal capacity. Which means how much friction & how much heat that the brake pad can take. The higher the thermal capacity the more expensive it is. Mugen sports brake for Acura & Honda has a thermal range from 0 to 500 degrees Celcius. Racing pads range from 300 to 800.

I don't think Toyota pads will fit on a Acura. The shape of the pads are totally different. You may consider getting other aftermarket brands such as Stop Tech. They have a wide range of application for most makes & models.

Don't guess you need new pads. Inspect them. Get under the car and look at them. It does not take a rocket scientist to see if any meat is left on your brake pads.

yeah the squeaking noise is the brake pads, there meant to do that to tell you to change them...about the pads just go to an auto store and tell them your car and pic out the pads you care to buy, there pretty much all the same

You should take your quality vehicle to the dealer, have the brakes checked and if needed have the dealer do it with dealer parts. It has amazed me for years that someone will go out and spend good money for a quality vehicle and cheapskate through repairs and not use quality dealer parts.
