OK we supported the Iraqi invasion . Bad idea. But we didnt formulate the plan , and were provided with faulty and misleading intellegence. Money has not been an issue up to now ( Even though we were promisised that oil revenues would fund the reconstruction). How are liberals or Dems to blame for Bushs formulated and failed strategy?

Hey sociald -If 90% of the libs you say opposed a FAILED plan , then that would prove they were right . But by your logic , they were wrong for being right.

Republicans ALWAYS blame somebody or something other than themselves. Self-righteous by nature and philosophy they shy away from accountability by casting the blame elsewhere. Original sin was not their fault but the serpent's!

Democrats know nothing about foreign policy, that is why they do not need to be in position as Commander and Chief. I can tell you really do think that Bush makes all these decisions himself, he does not, Democrats and Republicans, all have input on all decisions, so why keep blaming Bush, all voted, now the Dem's want to whine. Dem's are just as much the blame as Bush, actually more than Bush. Dem's are many, Bush is one. If the information was faulty, that information started when Clinton was President, so does that mean, Clinton fabricated all the intelligence to attack Iraq, cause this is when the first evidence about wmd started, and Clinton had Bin Laden in his sights five times and let him go. The blame game is all Democrats are good for, blame some one else.

Because it can never be a republicans fault. Only the democrats are wrong.
Even with the last 6 years with the republicans in control of the white house hold the majority in congress it's still has to be the democrats fault. If they can't be fully to blame then it's got to be Clintons fault.

I agree , libs didnt formulate the plan, and they still havent formulated a plan. Thats pretty much the problem with libs.

90% of the liberal 'plan' is to oppose whatever the other side's plan is. thats it. Thats unless we are talking about something like global warming .. then there is a plan.. its just a bad plan.

I would really love to see the DNC actually propose a solid plan ( a plan means we want to accomplish x so lets do z y and z. Its not lets stop doing what the other guys are doing ..thats not a plan )

Republicans are great at blaming democrats. Notice that they are still blaming Clinton for 9/11 (9 months after he left office). The intelligence was definitely "cooked." The republicans exaggerated everything they could to drum up support for the war. I've never seen a president campaign as hard as he did to start a war. Most presidents only go to war reluctantly. Bush couldn't wait.

We have to get beyond casting blame and get down to the business of working on how to solve this problem as well as all the rest. Division and partisan politics has caused nothing but gridlock while millions of lives are at stake around the world.

I don't know for sure who is to blame, but the democrats clearly had the same intel as Bush and the UN, so you can't say they were mislead. Besides they are elected officials that are suppose to be extremely smart people, and I doubt they would that easily be fooled.

becuase thats what republicans do. When they fail they blame the democrats. They can't take responsibility for their own actions. And then they have to compare it to Clinton's administation which was about ten years ago.

I didn't support the invasion. If you DID you have blood on your hands and have zero right to ask questions. Got it?

Neocons don't like responsibility - obviously since they won't take it on themselves when it is so utterly and perfectly clear they blew the whole "war on terror". How can we americans and the rest of the world trust such self deluded people?
