it seems like no matter who becomes president nothing is being
accomplished. There's too much talk no action.

Your a genius Joe. I love you, not in a gay way. That depends on how long 300 million americans continue to use their *** as a place to hide their head. If we were all shepards instead of most being retarded sheep it would happen quickly. Thats all politicians do is talk. That is their job. They sit around and write laws. Does anyone know what they all are and How many do we need. We don't need government. Thats why we left England.

The truth is that most of the people who vote in this country are senior citizens. Until the younger generations start trying to work their way into government or start voting at least, there is little hope for real aggressive change.
Unfortunately, most of the citizens of our country were bored through history lessons that were tweaked to show America in a better light, and very few ever seek to gather more knowledge of world history, or learn about how different governments work, how are own government works, or the tate of the world or the politics within. Most take what they hear on their local or national news as if it is the holy gospel when all they are really hearing is spin.
The fact of the matter is, the American people have short term memories and little understanding of the world around them. Yet, they take it upon themselves to criticize whoever is in the most important job in the U.S. as if they could do it better. Hell, most of you couldn't even make it to a nomination, much less an election, even in your local government.
Unless you have devoted years to studying the state of the world, international politics, and the histories that people in other countries have not forgotten, then you are not qualified to even discuss what is happening in the world today with integrity. You certainly aren't qualified to make judgements about it, and you sound foolish when you do. If your only souce of reference is the daily news, especially if you limit yourself to only one news source and you only listen to the news that is slanted in your direction, then accept the fact that you are receiving entertainment and not news.
The problem isn't the president, the problem is that the American people have no stamina, the American media is just looking for another scandal to keep you watching, and the American president is doing what he thinks is best for this country, and frankly I think he has more information than we do, and I'm inclined to trust his judgement.
Besides all the liberals do anymore is throw stones. I've yet to hear anyone come up with a better plan, mostly cause there really isn't one. It's a bad situation, but if we'd acted like this in WWII, we'd all be speaking German. It's one thing to have a high horse to get on, but you have to know when to get off too.

Quite candidly I am certain that America will never be totally straightened out after Bush leaves office. There isn't a Democrat at this time who is smart enough to take the situation and untangle it. We are almost bankrupt, our army is in disarray and our overseas sourcing has reached a stupendous new high that will never be balanced. America is in for a very, very hard time in the years to come.

One, if it's the right one. Unfortunately, the electoral system is set up to make it next to impossible for the right kind of candidate to win.

As is, I have to say, I feel divided government is a good thing. A nice dose of gridlock prevents both parties from realizing their nuttier ideas.
