those 2 are right... the condition of the cards and the dates mean the most... then there are cards that are rare and those that were given away... beckett will give you what they are worth... some people will buy them for more than they are worth if they are looking to fill a collection...

Go get the latest Beckett Guide for the appropriate sports and start a list of what you have (if you have Excel on your computer, you can start a database that can be sorted later by value). After you have done this, and the value of the collection is significant (I would guess in the $1,000's), go to Ebay and find a reputable dealer (look at the reputation of each). He can help you from there. Keep in mind the Beckett guide gives you approx. prices and dealers generally give you 1/2 of the stated value.

Any Jerry West cards???

Check out www.collectorscentral.com... - the free online sports card & collectibles price guide and community

This site takes closed auction prices, sale values from ecommerce/dealer sites, and opinions from collectors to calculate the prices real time.

hmm.. well i dono how much they would b worth, but it really depends on how old the cards are and what kind of condition they are in. if they're very old and in great condition they could cost a lot of money.
