Hello Paulette. you don't mention the reasons leading to his deportation nor his nationality so it makes it a bit hard to answer the question. However, he could have contested the deportation and be freed on his own recognizance and given a trial date to argue his case. Once out of the country it is kind of difficult to fight the case. Since I don't know his nationality and neither does the INS the asumption is that all ilegals are mexicans so it becomes a lot easier for the INS to transport them and drop them at a point of entry at any of the mexican borders. Best thing to do is to get the a coyote, bring him across again and once he gets arrested one more time you step in ( I am assuming you are an American Citizen) and fight for him and his contesting the new deportation. Get educated as far as immigration cases are concerned. The more you know the better you can defend your hubby and yourself

Deported for the "wrong reasons"?
Was he here legally or not? If he was, did he do anything to make him deportable, like commit a felony or do drug perhaps?
