I agree with Mr. Classic. I had very much the same problem when first installing Internet Explorer 7. A computer tech/friend of mine suggested doing the very same thing..go into control panel..add/remove programs..then find Internet Explorer 7. Remove it. Your system will go back to Internet Explorer 6. Apparently, Internet Explorer 7 is Beta. There were some bugs in it, but these seem to have been straightened out now.

If you remove internet explorer 7 your computer will no longer be able to browse the internet until you install a new browser.
If I was you I would goto the restore point that was hopefully saved before you installed explorer 7.
Goto your start button, then to all programs, then to accessories and then to System tools.
Click on system restore and find the date you installed internet explorer 7. This will take you back to your prior explorer version, but it will also undo any other programs or drivers you have installed since that point also, so be careful and sure this is what you want to do.....

The people who say it will go back to IE 6 are correct. IE is embedded in the operating system.

Uninstall IE7, it won't go back to a previous version. Download and install Mozilla Firefox, it uses up way less resources.
