i think that failure does make me quite unhappy but the feeling of failure only last a couple of seconds. You shouldnt wallow about just because of one thing you didnt do good on! People make mistakes, and they can all be fixed no matter how extreme. It does sort of depend on the situation and waht its about but still, when i feel failure i also feel oppurtunity which is why the feeling doesnt last so long, when one door closes, two doors open, right?

hey listen, only those who are not willin to fight should be afraid of failure...u ll be able to survive only if u ready to fight..accept success n failure as steps to climb on,,every thing moulds us the right way,,thank God for everything and keep moving forward
once u understand this u wont feel let down, think positive,,thinkin negatively is NOT gonna help u in any way

"Momentarily helpless" is right, because that is how long it should take to recover...just a few moments.

Just as soon as my brain makes that 'right' turn. Kick myself while I'm down, pick myself up, brush myself off (nobody else is gonna do it) and remind myself that I AM NOT PERFECT! I WILL SURVIVE! I AM A LUNATIC for crying out loud! I am supposed to FAIL! Not permanently, but failing helps me to help other people.. it gives me empathy, so... it's necessary, although, unwanted!

i think that depends on the person and the situation...it's all about context...but i think a quick recovery can be aided by a positive outlook...finding the silver lining of the failure can change a person's perspective about it...
