People are such wimps when it comes to change, they buy a house, and sit in the same damn place until there old and gray never experiencing life at all, such a shame.
People always let either family, a job, or something else hold them back. I think change actually makes a person better, they become more evolved. What do you all think?

You are damm right. Unless you take the challenges you cannot make it better neither for your self nor for your family, and changes are part of the challenges.

All the best!/

I agree with you and I grew up in a family that change was normal. Air Force brat. We moved all over the place.
Now in my adulthood I have done the same. Probably wouldn't have had I stayed married. (old guy still has the same house 38 years later), I'd have had to traded it in on something bigger and in a more upsale area.
After the divorce I changed jobs, twice and always for a better paying one. After 1 1/2 years I moved to the south where I still am but I move every two to three years. I just need that change. I've been here for two years and I actually think I'm going to stay as long as the neighborhood remains a good one.
So I've been in the same city for 22 years now and I have changed jobs 4 times now going on 5.
I have to admit tho, when you start to get older employers do not view your job history as a educational venture, (even tho it is) they prefer to think of it as un-stable.
I have a well rounded backround and could do almost any job I choose. Of course I'll never be a heavy equipment operator or rocket scientist.

Yep change is good.

I think we as people seek comfort, change can be real scary and sadly enough some people just cant cope with fear.
