I stopped taking my birth control in december and i still havent had my period. I have taken like 4 home pregnancy tests and had a blood test taken and they all say im not pregnant. Is it normal not to have a period for awhile after getting of birth contol? What could be wrong?

It can take up to three years for your periods to get back to normal, and for you to become pregnant.

Birth control messes up your body's natural hormone regulation. You will have to wait for it to get back to normal. If you still have problems see your obgyn and they may be able to help with getting you regular again. It can take up to a year.

yeap most girls don't start getting there period for 3-6 months takes a while for your hormones to get back on track. the longer you were on the pill the longer it generally takes to start back up, then it probably wont even be normal for approx a year smaller skip a few very heavy one month. just be patient
