Air Force (below) Iran is ALWAYS up to no good. Bush Sr knew this and therefore left the counter weight. Bush Jr just isn't that bright.

neo-cons posting fears of Iran should have considered that when they were cheering for mom's apple pie in Iraq.

winemkr (below) coming from you that's a compliment. We grow are skin thick in my neck of the woods. Calling me names is laughable to say the least.
Comparing apples to table cloths proves nothing. Of course, this is the only course neo-cons have these days. Bring up things totally irrelevant to the question. Bush isn't brave. Bush is a fool. This fact doesn't bode well for his supporters now does it?

I think Iran was worried. First, about us being in the region at all, right on their border. But most importantly, that they would be next.
That said, our public reaction lately has emboldened Iran. They do not believe that the American public would allow another war. Because of that, they are refusing to negotiate the nuclear issues. As a result of THAT, we will indeed one day attack Iran (for a lack of alternatives, including a motivated negotiating partner).
It's a true irony that the anti-war faction will, in an indirect way, be the cause of the war with Iran (rather than a negotiated settlement of the issue).
And Chi? This is most definitely NOT meant to be a partisan answer. If you think it through, you'll see how it is true.
There are entire articles written on just this topic, how our war wearies at home have convinced Iran that we would not attack, and that, therefore, they needn't bother negotiating.
As they see it, there's no need to. We won't attack anyway.
You know, the greatest use of nuclear weapons has always been deterrence. But the anti-war faction has eroded our military's deterrence factor, since Iran reads our discourse at home as weakness.
Of course, any war with Iran would be primarily an air war. And our airforce is in no way stretched. Not one bit. But all this talk about our reduced military capacity, being stretched thin, only reinforces Iran's belief that we not only lack the will at home, but the capacity. But they are very, very wrong. Iran will be a naval war, in part, but primarily an air war. Almost no troops at all will actually enter Iran, ever.
So many folks can't see the forest for the trees, so busy with propaganda they miss the political reprocussions of all the banter at home.

LMAO........... Good analogy. I don't think they were cheering as the bombs started falling.
And you are right...... anyone with half a mind would have known the result of giving the Shiites control of Iraq with Iran dominated by the Shiites and bordering Iraq. Bush and his gangsta bros are not that stupid. They want the war with Iran...... if it wasn't this, it would be something else.
*NOTE TO ZACK* You're full of Shiite! Bush hid during Vietnam, and ran and hid on a military base on 9/11. Bush ain't gonna do nothin', all he'll do is have someone else do all the dying. The little pencil dick mf can shove his red-neck accent.

Iran and Iraq have always hated each other, while the US has tried to figure out which one to befriend and which one to hate. They always celebrate anything that weakens the other.
By committing to a war on Iraq, Bush must have made Iran very happy, while telling Iran that the US has invested their military into NOT being available for Iran. Iran's best move (surprise, surprise) is to make sure that the Iraq War continues, leaving Iran free to do what they want unfettered.
Likewise, a crook like Ahmad Chalabi has juggled his alliances between Iraq and Iran (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4881157/ even FoxNews talks about it at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,122301,00.html).

There is no Air Force answering your question. There is only a delusional teenager who doesn't have the guts to get rid of the chevrons he didn't earn and never will.
Regarding your question
When Jimmy Doolittle bombed Tokyo, did Germany celebrate Roosevelt's intervention in the war and the disruption of the axis treaty?

Yawn!! Proof please, you have none,. I can tell you this, Bush Jr. is no coward, do not let that southern accent fool you, if pushed he will rip off their heads and poop down their throats. He has done a very good job already of showing terrorist that when US is attacked, we push back and fight to win, not retreat. ( Dems retreat) but not Bush. One very good man, this George Jr. I am proud of him. As far as untied hands of Iran, they wish!!
