Upper, middle & low class is determined by income so it would depend upon someone's importance to the mob as to how much they would be paid.
Now about real class; I consider mobsters to be of the 'crass' class. I think its impossible for them to be truly classy people.

another answer: how are you defining "upper, middle or lower class"? by economics, social standing, or how they are viewed by others?
your question is to vague to get any useful answers. but then that also depends on what you define as "useful answers" too.
