Years of owning my sexuality has led me no where in this department. I've recently met this open and adventurous bi sexual girl. She claims to prefer men, but find her more often than none indulging in the girls only department. She has an idea I like her. She avoids eye contact, avoids all kinds of contact period with me. While overly flirtatious and friendly with all ...she diverts from showing me that kind of attention. Almost as if not to confuse the situation. She's bi so I know shes not uncomfortable with the girl thing, but shes claimed to have never wanted to pursue a relationship with a girl. Then she has her moments where I feel her watching, observing, wondering. If I kiss someone else... I notice her unease... but I cannot peg if she's into me or just attention hungry. I want to blurt out WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU...ARE YOU INTO ME OR NOT?? Is being overly cautious and obviously uncomfortable a sign of insecure feelings or a big LEAVE ME ALONE?

It sounds like the answer is definitely yes, she is into you. She likely also has some insecurity about her own feelings if not her sexuality.

I'm not clear on the social context in which you know her, but maybe worth trying to talk to her, particularly if you think she's someone you are interested in. If you decide to, two bits of advice (a) have a private conversation -- no audience and (b) keep it a conversation -- not an interrogation.

I'll give you a straight guy's take on this, so ignore it if you wish, none taken. If this was me in this situation, I would be absolutely sure she was into me, she is probably trying to convince herself that she prefers guys. You obviously hold an immense attraction to her, she may be feeling that you need to make the first move, she may be worried that you would not consider a relationship with a bi female. The only way to answer this question is to talk openly and honestly with her. If you like her or want her, it's going to be down to you. Good luck, I hope you get the answer you want and desire. xx

in my experience, nearly all bisexual eventually embrace full homosexuality because they surrender to their deeper needs, and let go of shame and guilt.Beware.
