The scientific name for this effect is actually known as the post-micturition convulsion syndrome and the causes are still far from being resolved. However, it's believed by scientists that this particular convulsion, which is seen pre-dominantly in men, is caused by the interactions between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of our body. Apparently, the sympathetic nervous system controls the holding of urine, while the parasympathetic nervous system controls the release of it. And the side effect which arises from the interaction between both nervous systems therefore causes such convulsions to occur as a result.

The shiggles occur after urination because of the intense sensation sometimes involved with urination. Headaches sometimes also occur after urination for similar reasons.

I think you may be a hypochondriac. Your best bet would be to quit looking up symptoms and trying to decide if this is what you have. You are going to drive yourself nuts. There isn't one commercial on TV that doesn't give you a list of symptoms for each drug they are trying to push. Ignore them. You're going to end up in the loony bin. And that place is no fun.
