Well my friend and I can really sing-and we aren't sure which agency is the best place to get noticed in the singing acting department

Agents attend plays. If you are in a play, invite an agent to see your performance.
Unless you tell an agent you are performing, they will not know you exist. Market yourself to the Talent Agencies.

You could get a listing of talent agents, but the best one will be one where the agent has a strong and positive personal reaction to your talents: and that can be a very individual matter.

I know this guy named Simon Cowell and he will take care of you.
He has this really small show called American Idol.
