My mom took me out of school, I'm 15, as a punishment, and she told my school I was going to a private high school so they wouldn't see the records. I tried calling my school but I couldn't get through. Help!

Go the the board of education and explain to them very clearly what your mom did.Make sure you have your school Id number.Look on your old report card it may be there and they can trace your records. She has to fill out a transfer form before they can pull you out of school. The school forms don't do directly to her they would be sent the the next school you would be attending. She would just get a letter stating that you are a transfer student and then your records will be sent to the school..She can't just take you out of school that will make you truant and she is responsible for that.Call the board of education everyday and let them know that she is not letting you attend school.Once the legal department gets in touch with your mom I think she will let you go to school.

Uh, there's nothing you can do! It sounds like that your mom is taking you out for a reason in which you weren't on your best behavior, so the school can't do anything, because she can home school you, send you to boarding school, private school, or an alternative school. So unfortunately there's nothing you can do but face your punishment and think about why she is doing this.

I don't know what you did to warrant this kind of punishment but in doing so, she's breaking the law. I would continue to try and contact the school and see if they can help you.

You might try to resolve this with your parent by letting her know that she's breaking the law by doing this and offering to accept an alternative punishment. That's called negotiation. BE NICE!!

Because you are a minor, I doubt if you can do anything about it. But, continue calling the school and let them know wwhat is going on and that you don't want to change schools. They may have a way of helping you.

if she isnt home schooling and you arent being put in another school then she is in big trouble if she gets caught. you cant in the state of missouri anyways use that as an excuse to not send kids to school. if you really want an education then you need to call the cops or sheriff or juvenile office and report it. if you dont want to get her into trouble you can just threaten it to get her to do what is right. good for you for wanting to go to school
