I accidently sprayed tire cleaner on my windshield thinking it was windex. Stupid!! I know, but my windshield is now greasy and when it rains and I use the wipers, they water just streaks. I dont know how to get the stuff off! When I clean it with windex it is fine but as soon as the window gets wet and I have to use the wipers, it just streaks and leaves marks when it dries. Please help!!

Go to the hardware store and ask for "Goof Off." You can also get it at places like Walmart for example. This well-known solvent product removes dried paint as well as adhesive, sticker residue, gum, crayon, tar, OIL (like your tire spray), marker, pen, lipstick, scuff marks, candle wax, grease and much more!

I work at a car lot and we've got tire sprays blown onto the windows on a windy day and I know this works. It kinda disolves anything it comes in contact with. Be carefull not to get it on the paint of your car. If you do, rinse it off immediately.

Take a few swigs and then pour a bottle of Jack Daniels on your windshield. Wipe it down afterwards.

I hope your aim at the toilet is better than your aim at the tires!
