Lol.!!! I've been shaving there religously for the last 10 years and this is the way to do it!!
* Always use shaving cream w/aloe
* After you shave, put baby oil all over and you will feel better!!! :)

Things that help are

soaking in the tub in HOT water for 10 minutes before shaving

using a new sharp blade and shave gel. I like Skintimate.

after shaving wipe some Tend Skin on the area. This stuff is awsome! http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml;jsessionid=2FWNJJGZWMRW1LAUCJ4BXCQ?brandId=4364

crush up some cheap aspirin (not the coated kind) and mix with water to make a paste. After shaving apply the paste to the area and let it sit like a mask for 10-20 minutes and then wash it off.

And finally the best thing I ever did, laser hair removal. It reduced the amount of hair I have down there so much that I can shave it dry and not have any bumps.

I think some of those are ingrown hairs. I get them too when I shave my pubic area. I've heard that using as sharp a razor as possible and trying to shave with the flow of hair rather than against it might help. I also use shaving lotion as well. Hope that helps.

i have shaved my pubic area for 10 yrs now.i use a gillett sensor razor for men, you have to shave the way the hair grows (mostly downward but at the upper part of pubic area its hit and miss i still get "razor burn" if i dont shave often enough.use a sensitive skin shaving cream and a moisterizer that doesnt contain perfumes etc to apply after shaving.good luck also use a fresh razor/razor blade each time

Try bacitracin or neosporin. Shave bumps are the result of the little too-tiny-to-see cuts that a razor causes becoming irritated/infected. These products will work, plus the petroleum jelly will moisturize and soothe.

This sounds like razor burn to me. Maybe some sort of cream or lotion. Of course, I'm a guy, but I would imagine that you would handle it similarly to how we handle skin irritation when it comes to shaving our faces. Though, I couldn't really recommend after shave for this. Maybe ask at a pharmacy, they should be able to recommend something.

For me - its best to use a fresh razor and I use Dove soap. Make sure you have a real good lather, its not scented and then put Vaseline on it afterwords for about 2-3 hrs. But, with summer coming up it is going to be really hard to keep from getting heat bumps unless you go wax..

Your skin is a bit tender, and not able to take the stress if shaving. You might try an electric shaver - it may or may not continue to pull the hairs a bit, but will not take any of the skin off. I think it's worth a try.
