I think it's a play on so many of our obsessions with "political correctness" -- it just gets too be too much and too ridiculous sometimes. So the company's advertisers are making a jest about it without "offending" anyone. It's hysterical! I agree, the only funny ones are the first one when the Geico exec takes them out to dinner and the airport one when the caveman passes by a Geico poster claiming that "Geico.com - so easy a caveman could do it!"

First of all, good for you for not having a TV. Their ad says....."So easy a caveman could do it" & supposedly there are cavemen among us who were insulted by the ad. The only one I find amusing is the one where he's at the airport on the moving sidewalk & sees the sign. The song they play is great fo that commercial.

well first of all they are funny.
secondly it seems the advertising exects have embarked on the fears of the American population of being segregated into a certain "class", in the ads, that class being cave men. as if there are really neanderthals living amongst us.
wouldn't have been so funny if they said "so easy a house wife could do it", or "so easy a ***** could do it."
please no nasty mail on that , but i think that is what the advertisers were going for. hence the scene in which the cave man is seen with his therapist.

They are funny. Which ever ad agency is in charge of the Geico commercials should win major awards.

A lot of people think they're very funny.

Now, did you really want to get an answer to this question, or did you just want to make sure people know you don't own a TV?
