Im looking for something along the lines of Disenys The little Mermaid story line but anything would be good. Ive been fasinated with mermaids since i was young and need a good book. Please help

"Mermaid Tales from Around the World" by Mary Pope Osborne has some wonderful short stories about mermaids all based on legends in different countries.

I dont know the author and i was short a couple dollars of buying "the mermaid chair" im not sure its about mermaids. >_< sorry.
