Where are you located? You need to find the Department of Social Services because you're really in trouble! A church might be able to help too. If all else fails, go to the police. You need to get out because you're living a miserable life!

RUN!!!! Talk to someone at your local department of social services or get ahold of a domestic abuse counsler. They can help you find housing and even a job if you are unemployed. Plus get ahold of a good lawyer because your husband could end up paying alimony and child support. Do this for yourself and your child! Don't let a man treat you badly when there are plenty out there that won't. I will keep you in my prayers.

I don't know where you live so can't give you anything but general ideas. Most large cities have shelters for battered women. They will take you and your children, protect you from him, help you get started again and so forth. But you have to look for them, perhaps on the internet. Battered women shelters is what you're looking for. Good luck and god bless you.

If he beats you, look for an agency in your area that counsels women who are abused. They can tell you what you need to know to get back on your feet and how to do it without having to fight with your husband about it. Help for Abused Women and Children is an agency in my area (in the U.S.) but they are everywhere in some guise. Ask the pastor at your church - he will know.

Your in a bad situation, you need to become more independent...even trying to be so will make your husband think twice about you leaving him...but you need to go to school or find a job to support yourself so you can be able to make decisions of what you would like to do instead of being dependent on what your current situation allows...good luck.

Call your local women's shelter and get out of that environment. If he's beating on you, he'll soon start in on the children.
You also need to call the police and ask for their help. He deserves to go to jail for beating on you.
