I know not everyone has a pet or even likes them but this made me wondor about the safety of our food. Could this happen with human food? I mean there was samonella found in peanut butter. A lot of the time we don't even know where our food comes from.

We are upset. The problem is that even with the death of our pets it cannot be 100% linked to the tainted pet food. We had a litter of 10 puppies and the mommy dog quit nursing, so we went to our local Safeway and bought dog food, beef in gravy, to feed the puppies. 9 of the puppies died, the only one that survived was the runt of the litter who didn't eat very much. But we will never be able to prove the cause of death. This happened a couple days before the recall order hit the news.

I'm not as concerned with it because my dog and cat eat dry food. But yeah, it does make me wonder about our own foods. I have always wondered about that though, even before all these reports have been coming out.

I think someone did it on purpose. How does rat poison just happen to get in pet food?
