It only takes one bad marriage to answer this question. Life is very difficult and we have to realise that it just could be the first ont that takes the cake. how do you keep sane and how do you move on and how do you date again and how do you trust again, these questions are all asked by the hurt so what do you think? the why is irrelivant because the why is for everything that bad happens. And we are always in the middle. so live love and laugh and if you can't don't get married. Take care Heather

Probably after the second marriage. If a person can't find the right one after marrying two people, then it really seems hopeless. But then again, there is always someone out there that is right for everyone. But on the other hand, not every person is meant to be married.

That's tough to say. I imagine it would depend on how the marriages ended. If it were by divorces, I would never marry after 2. If it were by loss of spouses, I might marry a third time, but I honestly can't say. I think 3 is all I could take though.

1. Seeing as how I'm already divorced, I guess I'm done. Marriage is too antiquated. In earlier generations, marriage was a necessary evil that was performed for the 'right' to procreate. In a time where women (and men) are becoming more financially independent, strong, and our life expectancies are rising, we are starting to see fewer marriages, the statistics are too risky for some people and obviously we can procreate any time we want.

One. If I can't get it right the first time, I would just be too exhausted and mentally and emtionally strained to try again. Of course, I'm not a person who easily quits.

2 - if that were to happen. - But, thankfully, my "first and only" husband and I have been "happily" married for 22 years, heading toward our 23rd anniversary in June of this year.

Three strikes, and I'm outta there. Of course, at this point, one will probably last until I die... (Men in my family have a tendency to kick off early.)
